Following the last topic "Does God care what you wear", maybe a more serious question is do you are what you wear?

Sadly, we don't like being told what to do, even by God. This is why, for most, this will be a very hard video to watch. Pray earnestly before you watch this video for the Holy Spirit to guide your heart.

God pierces all disquises and reads the inner life. Let's plum the depths of understanding our own weakness, so we can fall at the foot of the cross and accept his sacrifice entirely.

He who strives to serve God will experience a strong undercurrent to do wrong. We need to barricade our souls. How do we do this?

We bristle inside when we are scorned, reproached and insulted, we cannot help it. It is natural to us to justify ourselves at the least provocation. How does this free reign of self affect our relationships in the church?

By the Bible testimony these will detect the deceiver in his disguise. To all the testing time will come. By the sifting of temptation the genuine Christian will be revealed. Are the people of God now so firmly established upon His word that they would not yield to the evidence of their senses?

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end [is] it for you? the day of the LORD [is] darkness, and not light. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this [is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this [is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. Amos 5:18, 19 and Isaiah 25:9

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Matthew 21;36

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:2 - 4

Bewildered and deceived, they were moving on in gloomy procession toward eternal ruin,–to death in which is no hope of life, toward night to which comes no morning....Such was the prospect upon which the world’s Redeemer looked.

Is God really an old bearded man with long hair sitting upon his throne with a thunderbolts in one hand and lightning in the other, ready to hurl them at anybody who is naughty?

Jesus Christ laid His glory in the dust.  The Creator was created but never did He cease to be the Creator.  Laid in that dust was the fullness of the Godhead bodily, immortality and eternal life. Even though He subjected Himself to the consequences of sin, it was not possible that death could hold Him.

I Am means an eternal presence; the past, present, and future are alike to God... We know not what is before us, and if we did, it would not contribute to our eternal welfare. God gives us an opportunity to exercise faith and trust in the great I AM  – {1BC 1099.5)

Is it fair if in God’s judgment He wipes everyone clean and says everyone is okay  and can do as they please when our temporal earthy governments cannot run on that principle?

is a great thing to learn how to remember, but it is an equally great thing to learn the art of forgetfulness. Many are in danger of losing sight of the fact that it is a duty sometimes to forget as much as it is to remember.

Praying again this time for His will and not our own we continued our search... If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. - John 15:7

Closely examine your heart as in the light of eternity. Hide nothing from our examination. Search, oh! search, as for your life...  It is an honour to confess a wrong as soon as it is descerned. 2T 81.1; 4T 239.2

"Will ye shun the seven last plagues? Will ye go to glory and enjoy all that God has prepared for those who love Him and are willing to suffer for His sake? If so, ye must die that ye may live. Get ready, get ready, get ready...."

Hardheartedness is a last day problem. Through expereinces and disappointments in life our hearts become hard as rock. How can we open a hard heart?

We think hypocrisy is ALWAYS the other person but it actually means means me!

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.1 John 3:7. Until you do the right thing, you're not doing the right thing. Don't be tricked. Today, people believe that you do not have to do the right thing but can still be part of the righteous in Heaven. Don't be deceived.

Satan is constantly seeking to cause distrust, alienation, and malice among God's people...Contentions, strife, and lawsuits between brethren are a disgrace to the cause of truth. Those who take such a course... are piercing the wounds of Christ afresh and putting Him to an open shame.

Moses had a deep sense of the personal presence of God. God was real to him, ever present in his thoughts. He needed help, and he prayed for it, grasped it by faith, and wove into his experience the belief that God cared for him. {5T 651.3}

Many are deceived as to their true condition before God. They congratulate themselves upon the wrong acts which they do not commit, and forget to enumerate the good and noble deeds which God requires of them, but which they have neglected to perform. GC 602

Who is normal? what is normality? How do we get mental health and peace of mind?

What is the basis of normality? continuing from part 1.

The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Do we really know our Creator?

What will make God give up on us? Does God have a limit to his tolerance? What happens when he gives up on us?

Is the NKJV just the KJV with the Thee's and Thou's changed? Is it based on the Textus Receptus or The Siniticus / alexandrian texts?
The answer may surprise you.

"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty". What is true freedom? Should we compel others to follow what we beleive? Where does this lead?

As you study the book of Daniel you can hear the thunder of thousands, the clapping of the horses hoofs as they race to the fray, the sounds of war, the mighty battle cry... In the distance you can hear the wail of the widow and the fatherless child. Where is God in all this?

 "And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white... Happy is the man that God corrects. Daniel 11:35; Luke 5:17

A deadly spiritual malady is upon the church. Its members are wounded by Satan...The world has so many claims upon them that they have not time to look to the cross of Calvary long enough to see its glory or to feel its power.

To take the name Christian is that all that's required to convince the world? Perhaps not all but the vast majority yes. I mean if you say you are one then aren't you one?

Our own way must be overcome. Pride, self-sufficiency, must be crucified and the vacuum supplied with the Spirit and power of God. . . . Did Jesus Christ, the Majesty of heaven, have His way?

Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest [thy flock] to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions? Song of Solomon 1:7

Enoch walked with God three hundred years previous to his translation to heaven, and the state of the world was not then more favorable for the perfection of Christian character than it is today. And how did Enoch walk with God?....

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.  Isaiah  58:1 But how?

Jesus indicates that He wants us to finally stand before the world in that final and full display of His Glory having this privelege should activate and motivate us.

Over and above all the theological sermons you hear today, the voice of Jesus comes and says for you to be the church triumphant, for you to sit in my throne, you need to overcome. You need to be an overcomer and that is the people who are triumphant. They have overcome and it requires purification and trials to come forth triumphant.

It is easy to forget the things we have learnt and read and then when we get into trial the 'how to' of overcoming disappears… Let's refresh how it is we follow the LORD. 

The Love of God will be studies through out endless ages. Jesus prayer to His heavenly Father expresses His love for us and His Father before He went through His darkest hour.

According to the World population clock at the moment there are 6 billion 775 milion people in this world. How is it possible for God to love that many people?  How can God love us all?

There is a day coming when the dead will hear Jesus’ voice and rise, but Jesus also said, the hour is coming and is now that we hear the voice of Jesus we shall live. Without Christ, we are dead in trespasses and sins. We are as good as dead without Him.

We shall be affected by it unless we by faith hang our helpless souls upon Christ.

There is a principle that like attracts like. We automatically are being drawn to people with whom we are naturally comfortable. To whom are we being drawn, and in what bundle are we being bound? These are serious questions.

In the heart of Christ, where reigned perfect harmony with God, there was perfect peace. He was never elated by applause, nor dejected by censure or disappointment. Amid the greatest opposition and the most cruel treatment, He was still of good courage. {DA 330.3}

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet... They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. Psalms 22:16, 18

 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 2 Peter 1:19

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads." The father’s name is equated to the seal.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:  Hebrews 10:24

"God by His Holy Spirit let light shine forth upon His servants, and the subject gradually opened to their minds. It required much study and anxious care to search it out, link after link. By care, anxiety, and incessant labor has the work moved on until the great truths of our message, a clear, connected, perfect whole, have been given to the world." {1916 JNL, QSM 8.2}

The testimonies already quoted as to the reception of the sealing message by the Seventh-day Adventists is also good proof as to the time when the sealing began. The four winds of war were about to blow when that commotion among the nations of Europe broke out. The four angels had their commission to hold those winds of war, that the work of sealing be not hindered. "A check was put on," so that the sealing might advance. {1916 JNL, QSM 19.1}

Some persons, more especially since 1894, have claimed that none will be reckoned among the 144,000 but those who lived until the second coming of Christ; and that this must be so, for according to Rev.14:3,4, they are "redeemed from among men," and "from the earth. "  {1916 JNL, QSM 22.1}

If we really understand Christ’s forgiveness we would be happy and is it easier to obey someone if they make you happy? God takes away the sinful life by putting His own righteous life in its place. And this is the power of the forgiveness of sin. It is “the power of life everlasting".

Exodus 34:6-7 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

There is often differences of opinion as to how long is a long sermon. What does the LORD say? Should all ministers preach for the same length of time?

He said "if you don't want Jesus to come this year then you are part of Babylon, or  anti-Christ." The reason why Jesus is returning is to establish His kingdom. If you don't want Him to establish His kingdom then you are anit-Christ. You are fighting against His kingdom.

"Lord are there few that be saved and He said unto them Strive to enter in at the straight gate but many I say unto you shall seek to enter in but will not be able." Luke 13:23

Do you ever doubt you will be in Heaven? If you doubt are you a believer, or a doubter? What is the blessing of Abraham?  Verse 7 says Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven. The blessing is to have your sins forgiven. Unless our sins are all forgiven we cannot receive the Holy Spirit.

We need Jesus for the Bible says without him we can do nothing. Not a little bit, but nothing. The natural heart believes it can do something; the something we think we can do is actually nothing. The Bible says we have sold ourselves for naught therefore we have nothing. Let us never think that nothing is something.

Whenever a soul falls in love with Jesus, every other affection is placed in subservience to this pure, refining principle of heavenly love.

“All things work together for good to them that love God.”  Could your eyes be opened, you would see your heavenly Father bending over you in love and could you hear His voice, it would be in tones of compassion to you who are prostrate with suffering and affliction. Stand fast in His strength; there is rest for you, the weary. TDG 348.3

There is another spiritual lesson in this miracle of the stilling of the tempest. Every man’s experience testifies to the truth of the words of Scripture, “The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest. . . . There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20, 21. Sin has destroyed our peace.

"I quite well know, that, Sunday did come into use in early Christian history as a religious day, as we learn from the Christian fathers and other sources. But what a pity, that it comes with the mark of Paganism, and christened with the name of the sun god, when adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!" Dr. Edward T. Hiscox, author of The Baptist Manual before a New York Ministers' Conference, held, Nov 13, 1893

The government of Israel was characterized by the most thorough organization, wonderful alike for its completeness and its simplicity. The order so strikingly displayed in the perfection and arrangement of all God’s created works was manifest in the Hebrew economy.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  The way we deal with life here on earth relates to our life in the heavenly cannan.  To his servants Christ commits His goods, something to be put to use for him. He gives to every man his work each has his place in the eternal plan of heaven.

The angels of heaven of whom we are to fellowship do God's commandments. They are ministers who do God's pleasure. There is order in heaven.

If we would see heaven we must have heaven below. We must have a heaven to go to heaven in. Heaven begins in the soul. What is your soul like, is it heaven?

Before Jesus left the earth after his ressurection he left behind a wonderful assurance. What was it?

Are you individually daily preparing that you can unite with the family of heaven? Are you quarrelsome here? Are you finding fault with your household here? If you are, you will find fault with them in heaven. Your character is being tested and proved in this life, whether you will make a peaceable subject of God’s kingdom in heaven. {HP 227.5}

The mind is so constituted that it must be occupied with either good or evil. Man has the power to regulate and control the workings of the mind, and give direction to the current of his thoughts. But this requires greater effort than we can make in our own strength. OHC 111.2

Gossipers and news-carriers are a terrible curse to neighborhoods and churches. Two-thirds of all the church trials arise from this source. SA 162.1.  Where no wood is there the fire goes out. Proverbs 6:20

Are you written in the book of life? How do you know? Will you still be written there when Christ returns? This is something we all need to be very sure of.

"The end of all things is at hand. The Lord is soon coming. Already His judgments are abroad in our land. We are not only to talk of Christ’s coming, but in every action we are to reveal the fact that He is soon to be manifested in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." TM 187

What is the source of loving relations. Do I treasurer my relationships? How can I stop them from being destroyed.

From eternal ages it was God’s purpose that every created being, from the bright and holy seraph to man, should be a temple for the indwelling of the Creator. {HP 191.2} Because of sin, humanity ceased to be a temple for God. Darkened and defiled by evil, the heart of man no longer revealed the glory of the Divine One. But by the incarnation of the Son of God, the purpose of Heaven is fulfilled. {DA 161.1}

This is a serious topic. It is not for entertainment. Our whole life hangs upon this topic. What does God require of us?

Its one thing to acknowledge Jesus is coming but it is more important to be ready. How can we be ready for Jesus coming? The longest journey is performed by one step at a time. Each step will determine where we are gong.  

This false sanctification is most dangerous and deceptive in its influence upon all who accept it....This atmosphere is charged with poison which is death to spirituality...

Is your understanding a bit foggy on the difference between justfication and sanctification? Maybe not or is it?
What is the reality of the atonement, at-one-ment?

What is the longing of your soul? Do we hunger and thirst after righteousness. To be hungry, you have to be empty. What do children do when they are hungry? Cry. Blessed are they which do hunger. 

Still others go to the opposite extreme, making religious emotions prominent, and on special occasions manifesting intense zeal. Their religion seems to be more of the nature of a stimulus rather than an abiding faith in Christ. Ev 502.2

The traits of character you cherish in life will not be changed by death or by the resurrection. Our daily lives are determining our destiny. {AH 16.2}

"I saw a company who stood well guarded and firm, giving no countenance to those who would unsettle the established faith of the body. God looked upon them with approbation. Said my accompanying angel, “Woe to him who shall move a block or stir a pin of these messages. The true understanding of these messages is of vital importance. The destiny of souls hangs upon the manner in which they are received.” EW 258.3  

It is discipline of spirit, cleanness of heart and thought that is needed. This is of more value than brilliant talent, tact, or knowledge. An ordinary mind, trained to obey a “Thus saith the Lord,” is better qualified for God’s work than are those who have capabilities, but do not employ them rightly.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:1, 2

It is a law both of the intellectual and the spiritual nature that by beholding we become changed. The mind gradually adapts itself to the subjects upon which it is allowed to dwell. It becomes assimilated to that which it is accustomed to love and reverence. Man will never rise higher than his standard of purity or goodness or truth. If self is his loftiest ideal, he will never attain to anything more exalted. Rather, he will constantly sink lower and lower. The grace of God alone has power to exalt man. Left to himself, his course must inevitably be downward.  

She petted and indulged her children until they have no power of endurance. A little difficulty or trial casts them down. Instead of developing a character and enduring trial and bearing with courage and perseverance, they sink under the cloud. Said the angel, "If thou hast run with the footmen and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?" [Jeremiah 12:5]. The time of trouble is before us, and if there is lack of courage and ambition now, how will they pass the fearful scenes of that trying hour?  15MR 331.1 

In both religious and social circles we are living in a time of uncertainty where nothing is definite. What has been believed in past generations are no longer believed. Faith is now held as a class opinion. Impressions, opinions, imaginations, feelings and notions govern convictions. Christianity today is dependent on this nebuli for its substantiation. It is a euphoria that has no concrete power to hold you if you are an intelligent discerner.

Learn the source of this peace and how to keep it in the midst of all the chaos and confusions of the last days.

The unity that exists between Christ and His disciples does not destroy the personality of either. In mind, in purpose, in character, they are one, but not in person. Unity with Christ establishes a bond of unity with one another. This unity is the most convincing proof to the world of the majesty and virtue of Christ, and of His power to take away sin.

Do you ever get tired and weary of the love of God? Can we be saved if we reject the love of God? How can we be an overcoming Laodicean?

What does it mean to be an ambassador? Can I be an ambassador for Christ in my own way? Does the Bible give us guidelines as to how an ambassador should live?

Jesus becoming our sin-bearer that He might become our sin-pardoning Saviour. He was treated as we deserve to be treated. He came to our world and took our sins that we might take His righteousness. And faith in the ability of Christ to save us amply and fully and entirely is the faith of Jesus.

Do believe in the power of God's word. What happens when God speaks.  Are you sure you don't believe in evolution?

What will make God happy? What will make Jesus happy? A big offering? A big donation? Penance? Walking up the steps on my knees? Making myself feel bad? Will that make Jesus happy? Three things will make Him happy, do justly, love mercy and walk with humbly Him. If you say can I please walk with you, He would say of course, I was waiting for you to ask.  Do you walk with the Godhead?

To have all the characteristics of 1 Corinthians 13 in one package is called Love. To find love is to find all the fruit of the Spirit. This series of studies will go through each of the fruit recorded in Galatians 5: 22, 23.

Prayer is heaven’s ordained means of success in the conflict with sin and the development of Christian character. The divine influences that come in answer to the prayer of faith will accomplish in the soul of the suppliant all for which he pleads. {AA 564.1}

Forgetfulness is a fundamental human problem. Can a loving devout Christian forget God. We have nothing to fear for the future except we forget the way to LORD has led us and His teaching in our past history.

There is danger of not making Christ’s teachings a personal matter, of not receiving them as though they were addressed to us personally. In His words of instruction Jesus means me.

 How well do you cope when things go wrong? A gross disaster, a catastrophy, family conflicts, financial troubles, mistreatment by others. How do you think you will cope in the day of the LORD according to the description of it in Amos 5:18-20. This study will help you better cope with what is soon to come upon this world. 

Do the wicked really burn forever? Have you ever thought, how can a just God require eternal punishment for sins that have only been committed for 70 or 80 years?

What did Jesus come for? Jesus is the one who brings us life and that more abundantly. Many people think that to have longevity they should follow a healthful diet and yet there are many who follow a healthful diet who don’t live very long. Why not? There is something more than healthful living.

The music we are accustomed to today is not the music that is heard in heaven. My ways of music says God are much higher than your ways as the heavens are higher than the earth. Isaiah 55:8, 9

 A study on modern Egypt and what it means to come out of Egypt. What are the modern bondages of society. Who is the real Pharaoh and how can we escape him. 

In God's word there is no mention of becoming an adult in order to enter the kingdom of God. What is the difference between a baby and a little child? A baby is wholly dependent for absolutely everything. A child can do a few things for itself, but is still dependent on its parents.
